Prospect of the Week

Our prospect of the week

Texas A&M-Myles Garrett IIOne of the most impactful freshman so far this fall has been Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett… or “Myles the Monster” as I like to call him. In this young 2014 season he’s been able to collect 5.5 sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss, 4 QB hurries and 15 total tackles and all that in just 3 games! CFBstats.com That is the definition of an impact frosh, especially as a true frosh. At 6’5″ 255lbs (age 18) he has elite size and his speed and athleticism are both top notch. Everyone talks about Clowney’s first season, but I have a feeling it will pale in comparison to Garrett’s when it’s all said and done. I’m not saying he’s the only reason for Texas A&M’s improved defense, but he’s definitely a big reason. If you haven’t had a chance to watch A&M and the monster… I suggest you do so, because it’s a hell of a shown and must see Tv. And, I say this because you hear about five star recruits all the time, but not every five star is like Garrett! Read More
